Dr. Talha Riaz Joins Unity Health Network Infectious Disease

The largest independent medical group in Northeast Ohio continues to grow as Unity Health Network adds Talha Riaz, MD, to its Infectious Disease division.
Dr. Riaz is a fellowship-trained infectious disease specialist who is dedicated to providing high-quality treatment to all patients with infections related to orthopedic, plastic and vascular surgeries.
He earned his medical degree from the King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan prior to completing a research fellowship in cardiovascular device-related infections at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Riaz then completed his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, followed by a general Infectious Disease fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina and a subspecialty fellowship in Musculoskeletal/Orthopedics Infectious Diseases at Mayo Clinic.
