Gregory Hill, DO, FAOAO, Named President of American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics

Dr. Gregory Hill, Orthopedic Surgery, was named the 79th president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO) in October of 2021. During the AOAO’s Annual Awards Ceremony he gave his inaugural address after being sworn in.
In his speech, Dr. Hill took time to recognize all the people in his life who has supported him throughout his career, including his family, mentors and AOAO Board of Directors. He also shared a story about his life, describing moments that shaped him and brought him to the field of medicine and orthopedics.
Dr. Hill continued his address by emphasizing the importance of understanding the history of the osteopathic profession in uplifting osteopathic residents and physicians in order to be successful and have access to quality facilities to care for patients properly.
The AOAO has over 1,900 members who participate in the training of 500 Osteopathic Orthopedic Surgeons in 40 residencies as Program Directors and Faculty each year.
